Newsletter → Conversational German Program
Ich grüße euch!
Until now, this was a newsletter with dialogues… from today on, it’s something more structured: A Conversational German Program for learners who want to understand and systematically practice how German is actually spoken in real life.
The New System
The training now looks like this:
1. Reading → 2. Listening → 3. Writing → 4. Speaking
You read the dialogues, which don’t change in style compared to before.
You hear the dialogues in normal or slow speed, just like before.
New: You write and structure your thoughts, and I’ll give feedback to the first 20 replies.
New: You speak with the newly developed KI Sprachbuddy, an AI conversation tool that is designed to help you specifically with conversational German.
I added writing and speaking because most learners don’t produce enough German; they mainly consume content.
So, the new exercises look like this:
1. Writing Exercises
→ to actively build your own sentences
Example:
2. KI Sprachbuddy
→ to simulate real conversations
→ without pressure
→ anytime
Example:
The full system is now part of the paid version. The dialogue itself stays readable, but everything that turns it into real progress is inside.
This program is designed around one simple principle: fluency doesn’t come from understanding more, but it comes from using the language. Most learners already have enough input. They read, they listen, they understand… but they don’t speak. And that’s exactly where progress stops.
Language learning research is very clear on this: input is necessary, but it’s active use that creates real ability. When you write or speak, your brain is forced to organize thoughts, retrieve words, and build sentences under pressure. That’s what turns passive knowledge into something you can actually use.
That’s why this system is structured the way it is: you first understand real German (reading & listening), then you actively produce it (writing), and finally you use it in real-time situations (speaking). This sequence mirrors how fluency actually develops.
When you join, you get full access to the entire archive. All previous lessons are now structured into this system.
The next edition drops next Wednesday!
